Article: Report: Current Practice in Best Practice

19 Dec 2006

Research carried out during the 2006 Gateway meetings

The Best Practice Club and Head Light Communications announced on 27 November 2006 the availability of a new report describing how organisations capture and implement best practice. The report, in dealing with issues such as 'making the case for best practice' and 'engaging people', reveals practical strategies employed in today's large organisations seeking to make lasting improvements in the performance of their operations.

A series of workshops, held by the Best Practice Club and designed and facilitated by Head Light Communications, revealed tools and techniques used by senior employees acting as change agents and business improvers.

How we Implemented the Solution

Ray Wilkinson of the Best Practice Club said: "We are very pleased with the quality of the report and its practical findings; over 100 major organisations were represented at the workshops by managers from a very wide range of disciplines including HR, Customer Services, Business Development, Marketing, Quality and Health & Safety."

Ian Lee-Emery of Head Light Communications and author of the report comments, "Based on the feedback we received from the events themselves, we would expect the findings in this report to be hugely valuable. We have identified key learning points from each of the speakers' presentations, drawn them together and presented them as sharp, insightful points for action."

The report, summarising over 30 proven tips and tactics, is available now free of charge, from both Head Light Communications (www.head-light.co.uk) and the Best Practice Club (www.bpclub.com)
