Meeting of the Interest Group on SHE. This session described some of the recent updates to environmental legislation and also areas of current prosecutions - with examples. Those attending left with a clear idea of what will be affecting their businesses in terms of environmental legislation changes and also the approaches being taken by enforcers.

Meeting of the SHE Interest Group. Hosted by Urenco. Developing a safety culture in a business or organisation has to be worked at - it is not something that occurs naturally. It is a collectioon of various activities and requires a coordinated approach and wholehearted management committment. The results however, can be very rewarding. This session looked at some of the activities that have been successful at Urenco.

Meeting of the SHE Interest Group. Hosted by Lubrizol i n Belper. The way we deal with Regulators, particularly when they come to visit, can dramatically effect the way in which they progress any investigation and ultimately enforce action. Knowing what they can, and can''t do (although this isn''t all that much!) should mean a visit can be as much about educating the regulator and showing all your strong points as well as dealing with their requested and investigation.
This was a Club Workshop hosted by City & Guilds with presentations by City & Guilds, BT and the Best Practice Club. The Workshop looked at Case Studies, Benchmarking Best Practice and the TRADE methodology to Benchmarking.
